What we collect

Your name and email address, and your phone number if you give it. What you post, save and search for. Messages you send through enquiries.

Technical information that arrives with any web request: your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type. We use it for security, fraud prevention and making the site work on your device.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google — never your Google password.

What we do with it

Run the marketplace: show your ads, deliver enquiries, calculate the price guide from ad data, and send the alerts you asked for.

Your phone number appears on an ad only if you chose to show it, and it is revealed only on the ad itself after a deliberate tap — never in search results, never in bulk.

Notifications — email or on your device — are sent only for things you turned on, and every channel can be turned off where you turned it on.

Cookies and storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and keep device-only conveniences like your recently-viewed list — that list never leaves your device.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers on NaiCar.

What we share, and what we never do

We do not sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

We share data only with the service providers that run the site — hosting, email delivery, image storage — under contracts that limit them to exactly that, and with authorities where the law requires it.

We do not send marketing email unless you opted in, and every one carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Retention and security

Ads and messages are kept while your account exists, because they are the record of your sales. Closing your account removes your ads from the site.

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access tokens are short-lived and revocable, and a sign-out revokes them everywhere.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any ad, change alert and notification preferences, verify or change your contact details, or close your account entirely — all from your account settings.
